"I am 69 years old and recently had a colonoscopy at Waverley Surgery Center. Anybody who has prepped a colonoscopy knows you are not feeling really terrific before the procedure. From the minute I was met at the elevator to the time I left after the procedure, I must have interacted with about 10 people. Every person treated me with respect, kindness, consideration, and were engaged in providing comfort, meeting my needs, and informing me of each step to be taken before and after procedure. I knew I was in the best hands. I highly recommend them. This was my third colonoscopy at Waverley and the experience was same quality each time."

"Great place and service! I especially liked the friendly staff who were ready to help and give clear instructions. I was about to have an upper endoscopy performed on me and was super worried about the anesthesia shot and the procedure itself. The nurse who was with me really helped me to calm my nerves down and feel better. 5 stars for this center!"

"It couldn’t have been any easier for a routine check. This was the first time at this surgery center. My husband dropped me off downstairs in the garage area. I then called the office with the number posted by the elevator and a staff person met me to check my temperature before chaperoning me upstairs for the procedure. Check in was easy. The front office and nursing staff were friendly. Pre-op questioning with the nurse was the challenging part as I was not being able to lip read - I have hearing loss in my right ear (I don’t use my hearing aid when I get knocked out for a procedure for fear of losing my aid. It gets tangled up in my mask ear loop), but we managed. My doctor and her team were waiting for me and as soon as I was wheeled in, I knew I was in good hands. Everyone was informative, professional, and kind. They were Covid conscious with their protocol, which I absolutely appreciated. I was knocked out before I realized anything was happening. It was a bonus that they finished sooner than expected. Recovery area was what I would expect from a surgery center - clean, comfortable. All very positive, considering."

"This surgery center is located in Palo Alto, with plenty of parking spaces, they are on time and their staff are very friendly, the doctors are very knowledgeable and precise, after the procedure the nurse will take you on the wheelchair to your car! Anyway it was a pleasant experience for my husband and me!"

"As you well know or maybe it's a first time going to a "Surgery Center" but their name alone can bring a bit of fear into your proceedure alone, Not here Waverly Surgery Center because the staff works like a well run, completely compassionate system, with explanations both readily give and if asked for!!! "Called and left a message 45 minutes before i was supposed to be there that my appointment was being pushed back an hour. Staff was nice enough about it, still super frustratedEdit. Staff were able to find another anesthesiologist and surgery started on time. I really liked the anesthesiologist i had as well, so everything worked out well in the end despite the hassle."
