"I have had 2 back Surgeries hereMy son has has had Open Heart Surgery here & other Procedures .The Heart Surgeon transferred to Washington in September of 22. I’m very hopeful another Heart Surgeon can fill his shoes.His Cardiologist is here. We have been with him for years."

"My husband has had numerous surgeries at Methodist and had to stay overnight. Every time I stayed in the room with him and was very comfortable on the daybed that is in the room and the staff were ALL so nice to me and took excellent care of my husband! We will not be going to any other hospital as long as we live in Houston!"

"Miserable place for urgent medical attention. I visited a physician for knee injury as that was the only way to get to an orthopedician. I did not get an apppointmentfor MRI anytime before a week(I had to do it second time in a different location for the malfunctioning of the MRI). They did not update the MRI report days after I had it. I was said that would directly sent to the doctor and after following up for couple of days, the doctor hadn’t seen my report. I have been suspected to have knee injuries that might require surgery and this has been my struggle so far just to get the diagnosis report"

"Terrible service, something that should have taken 45min-1 hour took 6.5 hours. I have hospital knowledge. Most of the issues was the hospital/ staff fault. Even updates I was supposed to get, i didn't. Either my worst hospital or second worst.Update: Yup, still doing bad job. Unfortunate"

"Back in 2004 I was hospitalized for a month and it was a horror story. Overdosed with way too many drugs. Horrible doctors and some nurses. I would have given 1 star. However, these days I have to give them 5 stars (my experiences) it has gotten SO much better. Friendly doctors and nurses. They respected my wishes when it came to medical care, medical or anything else I needed. Kudos on the amazing improvements. This will be my main hospital if I need there services again."

"My 85 year old father in law had surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital downtown during the pandemic and everyone there was very nice & helpful during his stay. He staid in the new Walter Tower building which is new and state of the art! We were very happy with the service there but the discharge process took some extra time."

"Right now...Houston Methodist, is fabulous. Dr Reyes was straight forward and friendly,fist bumped every time he came in the room...listen and considered everything I had to say. The food was ok,kinda bland. Nutritionist recognized I wasn't eating all of the food cause the meds was messing with my taste buds, so she send up Boost everyday afterwards."

"Went on a Monday for my pre op labs and had surgery on following Friday. 2 days after surgery had Covid. Feel pretty sure I picked this up in the pre op lab waiting room as there were at least 50 people in that waiting room. We never go anywhere that crowded and I'm pretty much a home body at this point as I work from home. Next time I go to this medical facility I will be sure to wear an N95 mask."

"My 5-star review is strictly for two nurses in Labor and Delivery:Courtney Brown & Laura Reyes are two of the most kind, caring, amazing RN’s a patient can have. My heart absolutely broke the day I delivered my tiny little baby girl before she was old enough to survive. It was the worst moment of my entire life and I have never felt pain so deep. Courtney & Laura were two nurses that took care of me and treated me as if I were family to them. I will always remember how the both of them made me feel while I was there when I think of this very hard outcome for my husband and I. Thank you both for not only being so amazing to me, but thank you also for acknowledging my baby girls name every time you walked into the room. Thank you both for showing me that she mattered even to you.As far as the hospital alone goes, I would give you a 0-star review for firing employees who refuse the covid vaccine. What a disgusting and despicable act and shame on the hospital for doing something so sick and controlling. To anyone who has been fired or will be.... just remember, God is in control, and He will provide for every single person who gets let go of because of this twisted policy."

"I was hospitalized at the Sugarland Hospital. Everyone was very nice, helpful and attentive. When I say 'Rudy in Maintenance' was the bomb - that's no understatement. After being summoned by the very nice nurse, he expeditiously came to my room and turned off a very loud air vac system that was driving me bonkers. He was so nice and polite. He saved my sanity. Thanks Rudy! Wishing you all the best life offers."

"On 2/07/2021 I received my 1st covid vaccination at The Woodlands location. I was so impressed with how smooth and week organized this was. I never took a step or made a move without someone being there to guide me, beefier I even had to ask. I can't say enough good, or praise everyone involved enough and commend Methodist for such a superb operation."

"This hospital saved my husband's life! After spending 9 days in another hospital that just put a bandaid on the problem I brought him to Houston Methodist. Within 24 hours of arriving they had already found what the issue was and had him in surgery to correct it! My family is beyond thankful for this facility and the wonderful staff here."

"I’ve had several orthopedic surgeries, but this is the first one through Houston Methodist in The Woodlands. I would highly recommend this location for physical therapy, especially noting my therapist, Claudia, who is amazing! She’s knowledgeable, professional, encouraging, caring and very easy to talk to. My favorite therapist I’ve ever had and will be requesting her for my husband after his surgery next month! Thank you Claudia for helping me gain my strength and walk again!"

"This Hospital required me to leave the room at 8:00 pm where my daughter has been in induced labor since last night. They allowed her husband to stay with her but I am sitting in a cold waiting room at 11:00 pm instead of being with my only daughter while she is in labor with her fifth child. I don't want to leave her here as anything could happen with her and the baby.In the room was a nice comfortable recliner and a sofa where I could have rested after driving more than 200 miles to be here with her. I don't call this hospitality or family friendly. On the other hand I thought the staff was very professional and courteous and helpful in every way."

"I regret that during three months I have not received anything new, and the treatment is the same as the treatment I received in the city of Riyadh, the Armed Forces Hospital, and I am still waiting for a liver transplant. He's amazing and they are without that in my opinion.."

"I'm just being completely honest... The medical care was on par but I cannot get past feeling that the ER could be kept a lot cleaner than it is. I was very uncomfortable by the unsanitary conditions and I plan to not go back there if I can help it. I openly complained while I was there only for them to tell me that they wipe it down really well when I can clearly see stains on the equipment as well as the dirty floors and table. It was disgusting For a hospital in my opinion. I don't know if they need to pay better or hire more people but whatever it is they should do it to obtain better conditions."

"For the last 10+ years my mother has been helped by Methodist nurses and doctors. She was a transplant recipient. We got an extra 10 years with her. Everyone at the hospital as always been so kind, from the people in cafeteria, to the people who helped her shower when she wasn’t able. I want to give a huge thanks for Dr. Beinart (I might have spelled it wrong) he was her cancer doctor and went above and beyond as her doctor. I want to also thank her transplant team. I can’t thank Methodist enough. She found a good hard fight though and passed away yesterday morning. In loving memory of Debra “Debbie” S Gross"

"The attention received by Drs and nurses in quite good, they were very polite and caring for my daughter. But it was terribly disorganized: we were transferred from another clinic for an acute apendicitis, surgery should be done asap and mu daughter was kept waiting in admission desk for 3 hours. Nobody was able to explain why, they apologized several times. She was in hospital just for one day, the nurses were very good anda accurate, but maid service was very disorganized, need to ask for water and sheets several times, tea was never served, dinner arrived even if we we leaving the hospital and which is worse was that after the Dr released my daughter, we were kept waiting for paper work to be done for more than 2 hours ( they were unable to contact the Dr again for making him sign the documents).A hospital like this SHOULD have a procedure in order to be applied in these cases in order to prevent the patient kept waiting unnecessarily. Nurses didn’t have the Dr telephone number to call him directly."

"I waited 3 weeks for the physical therapy appointment, but my visit just took less than 10 minutes to showed me some movement for exercises. No any therapy at all, it didn't help to release the pain. Just waste money and time!"

"We have delivered two babies at Houston Methodist, and we could not imagine going anywhere else to have a child. The professionalism, expertise, and overall great attitudes demonstrated by the staff here is second to none. Our L&D nurses and techs were all amazing and every single one of them went that extra mile for us to make us feel more at ease and comfortable throughout our time here. They paid attention to the details and treated us like we were part of their family. The NICU nurses showed their dedication and compassion for my son and all of their patients. I never felt worried when I would have to leave my son solely in their care because I knew they had everything under control. Every single doctor my family had shined and really showed their level of dedication they have to their craft. They never spoke down to us or hid anything from us, and they were honest, personable, and compassionate in every interaction we had with them. Even the staff we encountered in the cafeteria, health and nutrition, housekeeping, and administration all treated us we the greatest attitude. You could tell that throughout the hospital the staff had great relationships with their patients, visitors, and with each other. I don’t think you could ask for much more than that from a hospital staff. I will always be grateful for this experience they helped provide and will forever feel comfortable bringing my family here, if needed. Thank you to the staff of Houston Methodist."
